I am currently a student at Caerleon Comprehensive in Newport, South Wales. I am constantly focusing on bettering myself, this could be by improving current skills, learning new skills or beating a record I had previously made.

From a young age I have loved selling, no matter what the product was, I would try my best to sell it. My first real product to sell was match day programmes at Newport County, which is where I began to develop my ‘people skills’. I learnt how to deal with money, I improved my confidence in front of large groups of people and it taught me organisational skills.

​

Alongside selling programs, like many young entrepreneurs I sold sweets in school, from doing this I learnt about purchasing, economies of scale, how to correctly produce a profit and loss (albeit a very poor one) and it taught me how to deal with people of a different age.

​

I am very enthusiastic about helping the wider community whenever possible, for example since the age of thirteen I have been partaking in the ‘technical team’ for productions in school. This includes the lighting of events, controlling the sound desk and setting up a stage.

With regards to the businessman inside me, I am currently in the process of setting up a new business called XiliX. The company provides a social media management service for any business organisation with the aim of widening their customer base, improving their revenues and growing their online presence.

I am very supportive of education, communities of any kind and especially small businesses. I know from past experience as a small business where I supplied a professional embroidery and vinyl pressing service that times are tough and gaining a customer base when there is lots of competition is hard and requires much more hard work, especially when you are trying to concentrate on running the business.
